The Garang watershed is one of the main rivers passing through Semarang City, Central Java. uptream mostly a buffer zone and catchment area for water soil resources conservation City surroundings. This research located in upstream watershed, with aim knowing level erosion or loss tolerance due to land use change.The model specific sheet which modeled RUSLE (Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation) method. data used are (R) ground rainfall from 7 hydrological stations 10 years, (K) types derived form interpretation, (LS) length slope SRTM radar data, (CP) cover using multispectral supervised classification (maximum likelihood). quality modeling maintained validation input such as normal ratio method consistency test rain texture color surveys confusion matrices validation.The results 1191,56 hectares (14.14%), that occurred was still below allowable limit, while 7.232,67 (85.86%) above value. average 222 tonnes / ha year potential up 39,236 per thickness 3.8 cm. Even though it within threshold, this must be controlled considering importance whose has begun change its function agriculture plantations on sloping land.
